Outage Details:

Versant Power crews have made much progress in restoration efforts today, going from almost 40,000 outages at our peak to just under 10,000 this evening.

The bulk of the remaining outages are in Hancock and Penobscot Counties where winds hit the hardest.

Line crews in every division will be working overnight. Versant Power crews will be back out in full force on Sunday morning.

We expect to restore power to the majority of customers by the end of the day Sunday, with the remainder restored on Monday.

Workers will remain in the field until all customers are fully restored. Please give crews the space they need to work safely and efficiently.

Customers are reminded to stay clear of downed power lines or trees that may be in contact with them.

Estimated Time of Service Restoration: Restoration efforts will continue through the weekend. Please refer to the Live Outage Map for the latest information.

For your safety:
  • Do not attempt to remove any downed limbs or trees that come in contact with power lines.
  • Never touch a downed power line or a tree in contact with a downed line.
  • Motorists are urged to slow down or move over and change lanes, when possible, if approaching utility crews working on roadways
  • Customers who use generators or alternate heating sources are reminded to ensure they are used in accordance with manufacturer guidelines at all times.
