Release Date: 09-10-2020BANGOR, Maine – Versant Power is completing an upgrade of the electrical system in the Mount Hope Avenue area of Bangor and will be scheduling work to safely move customers to new circuits through October. This project, which aims to improve reliability of service in the area, may affect customers who live in the area between Elm Street and Hempstead Avenue, including Forest Avenue, Palm Street, Parkview Avenue, Maple Street, Birch Street, Fern Street, Pearl Street, Hemlock Street, Juniper Street, Howard Street, Yale Street, Aspen Street, Dartmouth Street, Kira Drive, Vance Avenue, Saratoga Avenue, Glencove Avenue and Brentwood Avenue. At times, customers may experience service interruptions while we complete this work. Versant Power will share updates on the schedule of this work on the Planned Maintenance page of our website, from our Twitter account, and through Public Service Announcements sent to local media partners in an effort to give residents as much notice as possible. We understand many of our neighbors are working and learning at home, so we are working to minimize impacts to your electric service and to give you as much notice as possible if you are likely to experience an outage as we safely finish this project.
