Electronic Billing (FREE)

Manage your bills online with electronic billing:

One-Time Payments ($2.95)

Our One-Time payment service provides a convenient payment channel for those that:

- Prefer to pay online but continue to receive their bills by mail
- Need to make a payment with a debit or credit card

Pay by Phone using a credit card ($2.95)
You can make a credit card payment over the phone by calling our Customer Contact Center at  (207) 973-2000 and following the prompts in our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.

Pay with automatic ACH payments from your bank account
ACH Payments are being accepted for select medium and large customers. Please call our Customer Contact Center to see if you qualify.

Pay with Google Pay ($2.95)
You can make a one-time payment through your Android or Browser with your Google Pay account. Pay with Apple Pay ($2.95)
You can make a one-time payment through your phone or computer with Apple Pay. To use this as a payment method, simply tap Apple Pay during the payment process and complete your bill payment. If you need help setting up Apple Pay on your phone or computer, visit https://www.apple.com/apple-pay/.

Pay In Person (up to $1.00)
You can pay your bill in person at one of our convenient payment agency locations. Details and locations vary by service region.

Mail Your Payment (Postage)
Customers receiving their bill by mail always have the option to pay by check. A return envelope is provided with your bill. Correct postage is required.

Bank or Credit Union (FREE*)
You may be able to pay your Versant Power bill through your financial institution's online banking website. 

*Versant Power does not charge a fee to pay your bill through your bank's bill payment offering, however your financial institution may charge a fee for this service.

Versant Power provides electric delivery service to two areas – the Bangor Hydro District and the Maine Public District.

            The Bangor Hydro District includes Hancock, Piscataquis and Washington Counties and most of Penobscot County.
            The Maine Public District serves Aroostook County and a small piece of Penobscot County.

Because some information varies by District, please identify your District on the map above, or enter your town or zipcode. If you need information on both Districts,  switch back and forth at any time by selecting the district selector button.
